Family Law: The control of post-release sex offenders

This project will examine the rapid development of post-release sex offender control strategies and the utilisation of risk management instruments in particular. It explores the development of the public safety ethos of these management control systems and the manner in which that approach has arisen and been developed and its possible impact on the ethos of the criminal justice system generally.
